The Government of Andhra Pradesh has notified Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA), Visakhapatnam duly dissolving the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) vide G.O.Ms.No.302, MA&UD Department dated 05-09-2018, appointing Sri.P.Basant Kumar, IAS, as the First Metropolitan Commissioner for Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA), Visakhapatnam.
